The Aquatech Innovation Forum is returning once again to Aquatech Amsterdam next week to shine a light on innovators and innovations leading the way in the water market.
With a focus on ‘Aligning action to scale water innovations’, this year’s Forum is being produced and positioned as the event for water-tech founders and entrepreneurs.
From practical insight on navigating water utility procurement, through to hearing from and meeting new investors, the event will help earlier-stage companies to hear targeted insight and make the right connections to help scale.
Speakers and the audience include founders, solopreneurs and entrepreneurs, chief technology officers (CTOs), utility innovation managers and venture capital (VC) level investors.
Sessions include:
- Navigating the water procurement labyrinth
- Embracing breakthrough business models: A brave new world?
- New money, new thinking? Welcoming new investors to the world of water
- The start-up and multinational collaboration model: can it help to scale innovations?
- The Innovation Forum Digital Derby: The Great PFAS Solutions Pitch
- Welcome to the Fishbowl: The Grand [standing] Debate
To help better connect the Innovation Forum strategically to other elements of innovation within the wider Aquatech Amsterdam event, it’s located in the InnovationHUB, alongside the BlueTech Innovation Pavilion, UpLink by World Economic Forum, Investor Lounge and also EU Innovation Projects.
Sponsors for this year’s Innovation Forum include Xylem and NX Filtration.
Tom Freyberg, Strategic Partnerships and Content Director at Aquatech Global Events, said:
“The Innovation Forum has always been designed to disrupt traditional conference models and thinking. We want it to be a platform where people can have honest discussions and make meaningful connections. Companies are not going to solve water challenges alone. So the focus of this edition is all about accelerating alignment between companies, to help solve challenges with scale and speed.”
As well as a big focus on networking, a partner event in the evening called ‘The F**K Up Nights’ will take place, sponsored by Aquacycl and SUDOC, where a spotlight is shone on when things don’t work out. The evening will celebrate failures as part of the innovation journey.
Alongside the Innovation Forum, this year Aquatech Amsterdam will see the addition of the Integrated Leaders Forum (ILF) conference with the focus: Water in transition: Strategies for sustainable & resilient water solutions.
