WRc have begun working on the development of a long term water strategy for Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates.
The highly collaborative project with SEWA moves forward from the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding in December 2018 to develop the long term water quality strategy for the Emirate. Commenting that WRc recognised and valued the strategic importance of the work, and the relationship with SEWA., Andy Blackhall, Director Corporate Strategy for Growth at WRc, said:
“The foresight of the SEWA leadership team has impressed myself and my colleagues over the last few months and we welcome this significant Contract Award. This work builds upon WRc’s heritage in helping to ensure clean safe drinking water and sanitary services meet the highest levels of customer acceptability across the world. UK, Europe, Asia, and now the UAE – another step in developing our sustainable business.”
In January SEWA announced the completion of the first stage in a major project for a new water supply network in the Hushi area in Sharjah.
